Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work at AdsEmber, including the right of withdrawal for EU and UK consumers. Payments and refunds are handled through our reseller, Paddle.

1. Payments and refunds are handled by Paddle

Paddle is our Merchant of Record. All AdsEmber purchases are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as the reseller and seller on record. Because Paddle processes the payment, refunds are issued through Paddle back to your original payment method. AdsEmber never sees or stores your card details. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.

2. EU / UK 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you generally have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of buying a digital service, and to receive a full refund.

Please note an important exception recognised under EU and UK consumer law: where you expressly request that we begin providing the service immediately and acknowledge that you will lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, the 14-day right may no longer apply, or may be reduced in proportion to the service already delivered. Where the service has only partly been provided during the 14-day window, any refund may be adjusted for the portion already used.

Nothing in this policy limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.

3. How to request a refund

You can request a refund in either of these ways:

Once approved, refunds are returned to your original payment method by Paddle. The time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card provider.

4. Cancellation and renewals

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or via your Paddle receipt link. Cancellation stops future renewals — you will not be charged again — and you keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

5. Partial periods and pro-rata

Outside the EU/UK statutory withdrawal right described above, subscription fees are charged for a full billing period in advance. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a period after it has started; instead, your plan remains active until the end of that period and then does not renew. We may make reasonable, consumer-fair exceptions — for example, for a clear billing error, a duplicate charge, or a prolonged service outage on our side.

6. Free trials

If a free trial is offered, you are not charged during the trial. To avoid being billed, cancel before the trial ends. If you are billed after a trial and are an EU/UK consumer, the 14-day right of withdrawal in section 2 still applies.

7. Chargebacks and disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact support@adsember.com first — we can usually resolve it quickly through Paddle. Formal payment disputes and chargebacks are handled by Paddle as the Merchant of Record.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
